N₂ atmosphere with O₂ below 500 ppm in closed-loop spray circuits protects high-nickel precursors, carbon-coated LFP and silicon-carbon anode from oxidation.

Iron-Free, ppb-Grade Design

SUS304/316L contact parts, electro-polished surfaces and multi-stage magnetic separation meet battery-grade magnetic-impurity targets.

Ultra-Low Residual Moisture

Vacuum and low-temperature drying reach the ppm-grade residual moisture that cathode and anode powders require.

Black mass carrying residual electrolyte and water is dried under inert N₂ with indirect heating and staged vacuum.

Selective Solvent Recovery

Adjustable vacuum from 0.2 to 500 mbar condenses and recovers each solvent selectively as the powder dries.

Explosion Safety Engineering

Explosion venting and suppression designed to EN 14491 and EN 14373, with anti-static grounding and negative-pressure dust containment for combustible carbon fines.

Recovered Material Ready for Re-Use

Dried black mass and recovered salts leave the process as qualified powder ready to re-enter the battery-material supply chain.

Same Platform as Lithium

The same equipment family that dries lithium-battery materials covers sodium-ion streams — layered oxides, polyanion cathodes, Prussian-blue analogs and hard carbon.

Hard Carbon Carbonization

Indirect-heating rotary kilns carbonize hard-carbon anode material at 1000–1400°C under N₂/Ar with O₂ below 10 ppm, keeping combustion gas off the powder.

Prussian-Blue and NaPF₆ Handling

Prussian-blue analogs stay below a hard 180°C product-temperature limit with HCN monitoring; NaPF₆ electrolyte salt dries to a KF target at or below 50 ppm with HF off-gas scrubbing.

Polyanion Spray Granulation

The same spray-granulation platform that runs LFP also spheroidises polyanionic sodium cathode materials — NVP, NVPF, NFPP and NFS.

Electrically Heated Rotary Kiln

An indirect rotary kiln with electric resistance heating burns out binders and electrolyte residues from scrap electrodes and waste powder at 300–800°C under N₂ or vacuum.

No Combustion Flue Gas

Electric heating keeps burner exhaust away from the material, so no CO₂, H₂O or SO₂ contaminates battery-grade streams during binder burnout.

Zoned Temperature Control

Independently controlled electric heating zones hold the pyrolysis curve to within ±5°C of setpoint across the 300–800°C range.

Clean Off-Gas Train

HF and POF₃ go to an alkaline scrubber with on-line F- monitoring, CO to after-burning, and solvents to condensation recovery.
