Pengeringan vakum dan suhu rendah mengekalkan sebatian meruap yang memberikan kepotenan dan aroma kepada produk herba. Pengeringan semburan ekstrak menukarkan ekstrak herba cecair tertumpu kepada serbuk yang stabil dan piawai. Pengeringan dulang dan tali sawat mengendalikan bahan botani utuh atau yang telah dipotong sebelum pengekstrakan atau pengisaran. Penggranulan semburan lapisan bendalir membentuk granul yang mengalir bebas terus daripada cecair ekstrak herba.
