Contatto diretto con aria calda nei modelli a spruzzo, flash e a forno
L'essiccazione per convezione trasferisce calore mediante contatto diretto tra aria calda e materiale — gli essiccatori a spruzzo (LPG, YPG, GXP, ZLPG) atomizzano i liquidi nel flusso d'aria, gli essiccatori flash (XSG, Pneumatico) disperdono il panello umido in un flusso d'aria calda ad alta velocità, mentre gli essiccatori a vassoi (CT-C), a nastro (DW), a forno (HZG) e vibranti (LZG) fanno avanzare i solidi sfusi attraverso un ambiente di aria calda.
Vantaggi dello scambio termico per convezione
Elevate velocità di essiccazione poiché l'aria calda entra a contatto diretto con il materiale, anziché attraverso una superficie riscaldata. Applicabile a un'ampia gamma di forme di alimentazione, dai liquidi e sospensioni ai granuli e solidi sfusi.
