A Closed Circulation Spray Dryer for Solvent Recovery and Explosion-Proof Drying

SINOTHERMO's closed circulation spray dryer runs in a sealed loop using inert gas instead of air as the drying medium, so it can recover organic solvents from the feed and operate safely with flammable or explosive materials. The recirculated drying medium also protects oxygen-sensitive products during atomization and drying.

Inert gas circulates in a closed loop rather than venting to atmosphere, keeping the drying atmosphere oxygen-free throughout the process.
The closed loop allows evaporated organic solvent to be condensed and recovered from the feed rather than released or lost.
Anaerobic, explosion-proof design allows safe processing of solvent-based or otherwise flammable solutions, emulsions and suspensions.
Removing oxygen from the drying medium limits oxidation, helping preserve materials that degrade in air.
Produces powder at 3–8% moisture content across an inlet air temperature range of 100–300°C, comparable to conventional spray drying performance.
