A Spin Flash Dryer That Dries and Grinds in One Pass
SINOTHERMO's spin flash dryer — a rotary flash dryer that combines pneumatic conveying, fluidization and grinding — turns loose solids, granules and wet filter cakes directly into fine powder. Hot air suspends and swirls the material while a rotor breaks up lumps, giving fast, uniform drying for chemical, mineral and food producers who need short residence times.
- Integrated fluidizing, pneumatic conveying and grinding replace a separate dryer plus mill, drying and de-lumping wet cakes into free-flowing powder in a single unit.
- Material is exposed to heat for only seconds, protecting color, activity and structure — with a below-140°C mode for heat-sensitive products.
- The rotor and swirling airflow disperse pasty, cohesive filter-cake feeds that clog conventional flash and air dryers.
- Simultaneous grinding produces fine, consistent powder directly, removing a downstream milling step for many materials.
- A small footprint and steady 140–220°C continuous operation deliver high throughput with straightforward, stable control.
