The Pressure Spray Dryer is designed to convert liquids into controlled hollow particles. This equipment utilizes high-pressure pump technology along with a nozzle positioned on top for atomization. As a result, it performs well in both spray drying and cooling processes, making it perfect for producing spray-dried granules of varying sizes to suit a range of uses.

A Pressure-Nozzle Spray Dryer for Controlled Granule Drying
SINOTHERMO's pressure spray dryer — a nozzle-atomizing industrial spray dryer — uses a high-pressure pump and a top-mounted nozzle to atomize liquids into fine droplets that dry into powder in a single pass. It converts solutions, emulsions, suspensions and pastes into free-flowing spray-dried granules for food, chemical, ceramic and pharmaceutical producers.
- A high-pressure pump forces feed through a top nozzle, producing consistent droplets that dry into uniform, largely hollow spherical particles.
- Nozzle and pressure selection control droplet size, so the same dryer produces coarse free-flowing granules or fine powders to match the end use.
- An inlet air range of 0–350°C dries both heat-sensitive foods and high-temperature ceramic and chemical slurries in one platform.
- Processes solutions, emulsions, suspensions and paste-like liquids that are hard to dry by conventional means, reaching a stable 3–8% final moisture.
- Built-in granulation and in-tower cooling deliver ready-to-pack, dust-reduced granules without a separate downstream step.
