A Vacuum Vertical Plate Dryer for Continuous Conduction Drying

SINOTHERMO's vacuum vertical plate dryer — a continuous conduction dryer built from stacked heated discs — dries loose powders and granules by conveying them across a large heated plate surface under vacuum. Its compact vertical stack packs a generous heating area into a small footprint, making it well suited to flammable, explosive and heat-sensitive materials that must dry gently at low temperature.

Vertically stacked heating plates give a large conduction surface in a compact footprint, so material dries efficiently as it moves plate to plate.
Powder and granules feed continuously through the plate stack rather than in batches, giving steady throughput to a consistent 3–8% final moisture.
Vacuum lowers the evaporation point so materials dry with a heat source below 200°C, protecting heat-sensitive and easily degraded products.
The sealed, low-oxygen vacuum environment safely dries flammable, explosive and solvent-wet powders that cannot be dried in open air.
The vertical layout delivers high heating area per square metre of floor, ideal where plant space is limited.
