Petroleum and Petrochemicals
Petroleum and Petrochemicals covers SINOTHERMO's spray dryer and vacuum drum scraper dryer used to process petrochemical intermediates, additive liquids and viscous petroleum sludge. Both configurations support the continuous, high-volume throughput petrochemical processing lines require around the clock.

LPG-Centrifugal Spray Dryer
Categories: Convection Dryer, Spray Dryer
Advanced Liquid-to-Powder Process:
A high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the tower's peak transforms materials into super fine liquid drops that dry quickly upon contact with hot air — perfect for precise particle size, moisture, density and shape standards.
- Input:
- Solutions, Emulsions, Suspensions
- Output:
- Powder with 3%-5% moisture content
- Temperature:
- Inlet air temperature range of 150°C to 500°C

HG/GT-Vacuum Drum Scraper Dryer
Categories: Conduction and Vacuum Dryer
Continuous Drying for Paste-like Materials:
In operation, the rotating drum picks up material as a thin film. Heat transfers from the inner to the outer wall, effectively evaporating moisture, while an internal scraper continuously converts the dried film into flake-like product in a short time.
- Input:
- Pasty, Viscous and Thick Materials
- Output:
- Flake-like Solids with 5%–8% moisture content
- Temperature:
- Inlet air temperature range of 120°C to 260°C
- Additional Feature:
- Cooling
Spray Drying and Drum Scraper Drying for Petrochemical Streams
The LPG centrifugal spray dryer converts liquid petrochemical intermediates and additives into powder, while the HG/GT vacuum drum scraper dryer continuously processes viscous petroleum sludge and paste byproducts that don't flow through conventional dryers.
Petroleum and Petrochemical Processing Needs
Drum scraper drying handles sticky, viscous petroleum sludge and residue with continuous scraped discharge. Centrifugal spray drying converts petrochemical solutions and additive liquids into fine, consistent powder. Both configurations suit continuous operation matching the high-volume throughput of petrochemical processing.
